What Will Then Remain? |

Cold upon my heart they lay- Those memories of you.. It seems they will not go away, No matter what I do. Your gentle touch, the sweet caress- That look, within your eye… Yet how could either of us guess- What just ahead might lie? Sorrow? Loneliness, and shame? Why! all of these and more… And who can say just who’s to blame? And who can whom abhor? “I love you”..Ah, ‘tis easy said- But harder far to keep… And when those feelings soon are dead How hard we tend to weep. The question still an answer begs- After all the pain… Is washed away by sorrows tears… Oh, what will then remain? Visit My Home Page http://www.geocities.com/montcogunslinger/HomePage.html |

how sad and sweet... ya know? So much love there, seems to me, all hope is not yet lost... But, that could be... just the poet in me. Corinne |
