Forever Lasting Love I feel you in my very soul This springtime misty eve, The coolness of the evening air My spirit does relieve. I turn my face upwards to the sky To the softest shower of rain And taste the kiss of the sweet cool drops As they ease away my pain. The gentle breeze sent over me By silent brother wind Dances across my rain soaked face And caresses my tired skin. "My love," I whisper in the wind Hoping that you will hear For I think of you every single moment Though I know you are not here. And though you were taken from me I will never forget your love; My love for you is deeper than the deepest sea, Higher than the heavens above. So though you had to leave too soon, I pray you will understand Until I again will be with you Here with my forever lasting love I stand. Terry Woodson Terry A. Woodson, Jr. |

Cool poem, it touched my heart, love does last forever, but only when it's true, and you can't let anything stand in your way . I will try and read some more of your poetry, it is very good . With poetry as your weapon - express your iner feelings so all may carry your sorrow, united as one . |

Thanks, Guys! This one was dedicated to a friend I lost about 8 years ago (while we were in high school). One of my dearest friends, she was hit by a drunk driver one afternoon after school. So if you are looking down, Ronda, I still miss you! ~you reached inside, you touched my heart, and I am all the better for it~ Terry A. Woodson, Jr. |
