Sign of the Crystal Prism It shimmers and shines Of hues in different aura’s Floating in beams amongst the glint Red’s fire fever, or warmth of cheek’s blush Emerald green envy, or maybe naive of the innocent Sadness sits in blue, or perhaps spring ‘s Robbins eggs Do you see only in black and white? A prism like the hourglass Always changing by manifest minute As time selfishly slips yonder Step from shadowy sands to seek illumination The past could never stay in the past It is needed as a final filter of future For how else could one’s mind and spirit Change self-image and sustain the sacred soul Marina Mar 26/2000 |
