The Veil

Your face haunts my dreams
a touch,  places me in a trance
eyes that forever hypnotize
for you my soul would bleed

I love you for who you are
and who I am when I’m with you
you make me laugh without a care
not knowing how or why

Feel my heart beat
I want you to understand
these things you never knew
were covered, with the veil

unconditional love...it is the thing perfect poems are made of...this one is no exception.
beautiful poem of honest devotion Marina.
take care, jm

Do you live by the book, do you play by the rules
Do you care what is thought by others about you
If this day is all that is promised to you
Do you live for the present, the future the past...

Marina,
this is excellent. . . it's not often that we get to lift the veil and show who we really are. . .
