May the Circle Never Be Broken May the circle never be broken That connects you and me With our ever growing friendship And our love flowing free. You are the best part of my life Nothing else can compare For if ever I need you I know that you will be there. You make me ever stronger With every passing day For you share your strength with me So that I may find the way. With every passing moment I grow fonder of your presence For a truer friend I have never known Life grows sweeter every second. And I know that the fates have smiled upon me Though aloud they have never spoken They brought me the greatest friend on Earth, May the circle never be broken. Terry Woodson Terry A. Woodson, Jr. |

"And I know that the fates have smiled upon me Though aloud they have never spoken" Terry, this is a poem to be treasured, as is the friendship you've written of. A very nice piece, sweetened with the sound of sincerity, the feel of devotion. ~ Claire **I think this may be the first poem of yours that I have read...welcome to Passions. |

Terry, You have touched my heart with your pen. I too have a friend I feel the same way about. Without her, I could never make it through life. Well put and thank you for sharing it. Friends are friend forever if the Lord's the Lord of them and a friend will not say never cause the welcome will not end. --Michael W. Smith |

Oh, Terry~ Circles ... one of my favorite thoughts. Spinning circles of friendship draws others in and in doing so the circle enlarges. More and more ... Then there is the intimate circle drawn around two ... becoming one in heart-felt deeds of kindness. Special circles are these circles of friendship. Blessed are those who go round in circles for they shall be known as friends. Wonderful piece for your friend. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

The circle holds a power to bring a loved one within the evermore of friend~ ~*The sound of a kiss is not as strong as that of a cannon, but it's echo endures much longer*~ |
