Every morning, I awake to face another day, Same old thing, the same routine, I work but cannot play, I slowly make my way through time and leave my trail behind, I scream for help, no one can hear, feels like I'm bound and tied, but then the hour approaches, when daytime turns to night, I feel something inside of me, this thing I cannot fight, I look upon my new-found self, I feel like I'm reborn, All my thoughts of good are gone, my mind is ripped and torn, The night brings out the rage in me, I found my beast within, I fall asleep as night-time ends, to have this start again... |

Vamp Dude, welcome to passions. Great poem. I think we all have a beast within. It is up to us to tame it. Good luck! Friends are friend forever if the Lord's the Lord of them and a friend will not say never cause the welcome will not end. --Michael W. Smith |
