It is all there, simplicity. There is no door. There is no key. I simply cleared my thoughts of me, and there I stood, smiling back at me. So simple, now, I'm not surprised that every thing I've known is lies. Cursing as the sun goes down, and yet again, when it did rise. I shake my head in disbelief. Remember panic turned to despair. There never was a lack of air. Gasping, I forgot to breathe. |

There is certainly an awful lot that can be read into these lines......to me, a mark of an excellent poem. Glad you're not bummed out any more |

You have a remarkable talent with words serenity ... I wrote a poem called 'Labyrinth' about a month ago ... I think only one person replied to it though Yours is much better Rex}>{{{{o> |

This is a monster of a poem. The last two lines are "classic"... Wonderful job, serenity. Michael |

Thank you to all of the very special people of the forum... mom...you give the best advice! devina...a sweet sister... Michael...master of words! Martie the "painter" and hoot, warms my heart, and Balladeer-- with a man as clever as yourself, who needs foreplay? Janet Marie--right bact atcha! Rex Allen--my buddy! E. Santos--I thank you! And just a note to clear things up a bit--the things I've written about are not lies-- they just didn't happen yesterday. So thank you for tolerating my dusting off the cobwebs! Catharsis, to say the least! |
