Friendship Turns to hate- At the drop Of an “I Love You”… ~ Best wishes Disintegrate- As I show Affection For you… ~ Those Hugs Remain UN-hugged- Those Smiles Become so smug- Open arms Fall shyly away… ~ Shallowness- I don’t need… For Them- My heart bleeds… ~ Friendship… Ever the unplanted seed. Open arms can be the most fragile in the world... |

devina, very moving poem. I know about conditional friendship as well. But when you find a true friend, a real true friend, no condition can ever change that. I have a definition of friendship as I see it - the way I try to be -- you can read it if you like - it is posted under "A Friend's Promise". That is the way I always try to be. Terry A. Thank you all for your replies...friendship has its ups and downs I guess... Michael- I think we both know now....only time will tell who the real friends are...love you...
