What if we could..... I lay awake again today, Just as I did yesterday. I stare at the stars, Up there, so afar. But my stars aren't real, They're glowing, and teal. They're stuck to my ceiling, And some of them are peeling. Tonight I will sleep again, And tomorrow I will awake. Tomorrow I wish I could begin, With a new life to take. What if we could wake in a new place. Smile in the morning on a new face. Start fresh in a wolrd you've never known, To see the things you've never been shown. You could be happy, for now, For you can have fun again, you do remember how? If you could leave your life, And move to another... .... live again |

Despite everything...I think I'll keep this life. With all the conflict in the beginning chapters, I just can't wait to see how this is going to end |

Interesting thought, but believe I will stay here and keep an eye on Hoot_Owl. Nice poem. A life isn't significant except for its impact on other lives. |
