    Mischief in the night

Into the silence of the night,
Where sleeps shadows of the light,
Walks a restless mind in gleam,
With the treasures of her dream.

Placing wonders that are grand,
On the keyboard with her hand.
Floating cobwebs into space,
With a smile upon her face.

Delighted with the thoughts that fly
Across the room and through the sky,
To settle in a warm embrace.
Another room, another place.

And with the softness of her words
Frees a flight of humming birds.
To fly about her lovers bed.
To fly into her lovers head.

And there in dream her lover smiles,
As fertile thoughts, entice with wiles.

I couldn't agree more. You've outdone yourself with this one, Sy. Perfect wording presented perfectly (don't ask me to say that 3 times fast). This is as excellent as it gets.

A taste of shadows' song surreal
from lover's sway and longing feel

...this is beautiful, Sy, and sets my soul to longing.

Oh, Seymour,

You tickled the ivory of delight
with melodies played in the night.
Lovers caught within the web
of notes sent dancing in lover's head.

Beautiful, maestro!
Love ya'

A star at dawn, a bubble in a stream;

A flickering lamp, a phantom, and a dream."
