BareFoot In The Rain

Oh disdain Oh disdain, you spatter tears upon my day
I sat long and waited,  you taunt at me, of coming fray,

Forest nymph, forest nymph, I’ve come to watch you dance,
Oh rain, Oh rain, play the song again, for her prancing trance,
Nymph of light, lilac and white, I feast upon thy sight,
Please dance again, in laden rain, and lift my melancholy blight

You dance for me, b’neath the willow trees, this night,
Passionate light, naked in silken rain dress, in the sparking lights
Watcher and lover, awaiting the wooing rite, lustily a fire
barefoot in the rain, lovers in the green, silver bodies of the silken mire.

Tonight the rain does not tire.

Parker~
Beautiful is your watching ..
she plays just beyond the glen

The endless enhance
of the raining romance
caught in one glance
wooded nymph of chance
dance, dance, dance

Lover watching from afar
lit by fire
of lusting desire
barefooted nymph
dancing in the rain

Mesmerized
with lovers eyes
little nymph at play
dance the raindrops falling
dance the day away

Enchanted forest
of delight
faerie dance
within this night
entice the rain
to never end
dance little
barefooted nymph

OOOohhh now, this is right down my alley!  I love this, it has such a light magical theme to it....very beautiful images you paint here!  I see a dancing fairy as I read it - a beautifully delicate woman, dancing around softly.....wow.  SPLENDID sir!

This has a very different feel to it then most your work.  The sunshine must be really be inspiring you in different directions....well done. Or is it lack of sunshine?

Parker -

the verdant moors
soaked with tears
of heaven's disdain,
love calls nevermore,
lost in lonely fears
of midnight's cold rain.

But in the morn
the golden one
rises in the east,
not so forlorn
warmth of sun
soothes even the beast.

 and you can say baby...
baby can I hold you tonight
maybe if told you the right words...

Parker this one simply astonished me in its
etheric beauty!  (Although there DOES seem to be an awful lot of 'fray' goin' round...)

Thank you, friend, this one, too, is a "keeper"!

In the wood with cupid prancing~

Rain of softest touch
Dance upon my skin
Make my head spin
Of places you have been

Speak only of happiness
And now let the sun shine
For she will make me grin
And my fun can begin

A bit of a jealous poem I'm afraid.  I think I'd rather have Florida's rain then Toronto's cold and dampness.

Wow!!!
Can you feel the mystical quality of the air after reading that?  (I know I can!)  Makes me remember why rainy days (and nights)
are some of my favorite times!!!!
