I dedicate this to my soul mate: Marcus

I can't help but wonder
what did I ever do,
to deserve you.
Our love seems impossible,
yet it seems to soar miles,
like an eagle.
Whenever we speak,
you seem to eliminate all my pain.
You seem to be stuck in my mind
like a stain.
You are my sunlight,
you are my moonlight.
I think of you morning, noon, and, night.
All I want is for you to be my side.
These feelings I can't seem to hide.
You are my soul mate,
I can't help but think this must be fate.
I  can't get you off my mind,
I think about you all the time.
Your love hit me like a down poor,
You are the one I've been looking for.

To live is to love, and to love is to live... the meaning of life.

 Fleeting World
"Thus shall ye think of all this fleeting world:
A star at dawn, a bubble in a stream;
A flash of lightning in a summer cloud,
A flickering lamp, a phantom, and a dream."
-from the Diamond Sutra, translated by : A. F. Price -- found in Teachings of The Buddha, edited by Jack Kornfield
