How can your muse not be amused? Could it be that it's been abused, Exhausted by this great deluge Of topics that you seem to choose? Well, Balladeer the thing that's clear is that my bossy little muse tells me what thoughts to choose. She prisses through the day cavorts through the night always telling me what to say and then what to write. She flaunts her little thoughts right in front of me .. then squeals with indignation if one of them gets free. She's a tyrant, I tell you. Cracks a mean ole' whip. Some day I'm gonna give her a big, fat upper lip. You've sided with her, it's plain to see that I get NO SYMPATHY ! If you don't retract the comments you made I'll send her to Ft. Lauderdale and at YOUR house she can stay ! When you try to sleep and sleep won't come you'll see that my little muse is quite the agitator I'll laugh my little heart out cause to get some sleep you'll have to EXTERMINATE her! ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

Oh Martie~ Be careful what you wish for ! This is not my 'love' poem muse ... this one is a little vixen that is fixing to get her suitcase packed. She flits about snapping her fingers for me to jump on every thought that passes. Why, some of what she has spawned can't even be published here. LOL ! I do have an image to maintain ! I have three other muses and she is creating havoc among them. I love your poetry too much to send her your way ...
