This story we’ll start from a puzzling end-- Alice, herself, will be quite bewildered: What becomes of a tale right then-- After it’s fully told to the children? Where, for exapme, is the magical hat?-- Where is the fairy? Gasper the ghost? A? Eh-eh! My dear, little chap, That’s what counts most! They do not vaporize, they do not shrink in size, Told in a children’s tale, seen in a wild dream –and-- To the Land of Miracles each character then flies And we will surely meet them somewhere upon that land... There’s still much undiscovered there... It’s easy to get tricked and lose yourself further And goosebumps will spring on your back from the scare-- If you just imagine what could occur there If there’s a gap and you have to jump, Will you be brave or will you get lost? A? Eh-eh! My dear, little chap, That’s what counts most! The Good and Evil in this place, like anywhere, are wandering But here they’re isolated and live within their sets Here on these dusty roads, weird stories are always rambling And fantasies are running on their long and skinny legs And finally, a desire that I have to mend-- Anywhere, anytime for children to know me I’ll be a bird in this wonderful land A bird named Dodo—the children have called me Even my Alice seems quite stumped, How was I packed into this host? A? Eh-eh! My dear, little chap, That’s what counts most! There are much stranger things that happen in this place There are no limits, -- you could swin, could run and fly It isn’t hard to get there, -- for each one there’s a space You could appear there instantly—just dream, give it a try! |

one of those lines sticks in my head, "Fantasies on thier long and skinny legs" puzzling indeed, I've been sitting here for quite a few minutes trying to piece it together. A worthy piece of work, nonetheless |

Very interesting! I enjoyed this very much Master! Very creative! I'd never thought of that concept....what happens to a tale after it has been told! Why to the Land of Miracles, of course, to live on forever! This is absolutely enchanting, Master! Denise |
