Pain does return, I cannot spurn, Insidious pain, O' curs'ed bane. I feared pain not, But I forgot, Such agony, "blank" cavity. To tooth beseech, Would use a leach, To lift your curse, Pain can't be worse. To dentist go, Tell tale of woe, Sharp needle first, Now which hurts worst? X-rays taken, Drill's a shakin' Tooth's done capped, With bill, I'm tapped. I head away, Hear dentist say, Advice from me, To stay pain free. A gift to use, To rid pain's blues, To me does toss, Transcendental floss. A follow-up to the very nearly legendary "Bane of Pain" |

LOL....wonderful. I'm going to call you Bill from now on...for this is surely something William Shakespeare would have written. You've done a marvelous job with this! ![]() |

This is not a laughing matter...but your bane has got me insane and the floss I'm at a loss, to come across with a reply ...poor baby! You must feel better, else how would you have written such a clever poem? |
