This poem was written by my son, I wanted you all to see it. What If? What if you were the one and I let you go? I had no power to stop it, this I know. What if you left, knowing it was right? And now someone else is holding you tight. What if I have always wanted you back? But I dont know the qualities in which I lack. What if it is you making the wrong choices? Listening to your friends and parents voices. What if they tell you what you should do? When will you be ready to decide for you? What if you never really follow your soul? Will you ever be able to say you feel whole? -JB [This message has been edited by ellie LeJeune (edited 03-10-2000).] |

how old is your son ellie? JB: all the "what-ifs" isn't going to change anything until you makes those "what-ifs" happen... (an advice, maybe... from experience -- definitely!!!) regards, good poem! |

Very interesting to read. The answer to every question would be that it was her choice. The only choice he had was to want her back. James |

Your son has obviously inherited your writing talent, Ellie! This is lovely! Denise |
