I can't wait to see you at the start of the day
To visit, say "hi" and be on my way.
You understand me unlike anyone.
When you are near me I always have fun,
The first time we talked, I couldn't believe
I let out my secrets with such trusting ease.
I know I can tell you all of my thoughts
and you'll help me untie the confusing knots.
You tell no lies, speak only the truth.
Never treating me like I am a youth.
The first time you told me how you feel
and made me see my dreams are real.
The first time you admitted you wanted me here.
Your arms wrapped around me, your scent lingered near.
Our first deep silence, I could hear your heartbeat.
I felt so calm in your penetrating heat.
You lean over my shoulder, your breath warm on my skin.
No one understands the love that we're in.
When our eyes meet, all else disappears.
I open my soul, you dissolve my fears.
You told me your problems, I offered advice.
We talked until morning 'cause I stayed the night.
You stroke my hair gently, wipe my tears away.
Promising togetherness soon one day.
You sing me to sleep and enter my dreams.
You are with me always, or so it seems.
I bring out your glow, you bring out my shine.
We've shared so many breakthroughs in such a short time.
I can't wait until tomorrow, I'll see you in a day.
I'll visit you, say "hi" and then be on my way.

first i wanna say welcome to passions...second....WOW this poem was great. i hope your love lasts forever and stays strong
