.......I saw you across the miles....over the wires.....through the bytes I send bits of my heart.......they not only arrive on the screen.....but touch your heart......share your moment..........make our moment......they touch your soul.........you send back...........we race to see each others words..........to feel each others hopes....dreams.....laughs....tears........love......most of all to feel each others love.........for like lovers of old carving each others names on the old apple tree....we inscribe our names on hard drives....and internets.......for we are in love in the present .....but with all the joy and wonder of days gone bye..........and future lovers will look at us with wonder and joy.........for love is forever

This is a gorgeous poem....full of hope.
A true inspiration to all, whether in love or not.
Thankyou for sharing this.

eyesplus2 this is touching. I know many
who have met on the net, and have since
married and still are happy - what
a wonderful way to meet -- and, oh the
sighs - to meet someone and not make judgments on any physical looks, just a
view of them as a person without any pre-conceived judgments.  I can't wait
to meet many of my netfriends --)

This one made me cry.
No need to ask why.
And where is that special reply?
