Floating down to touch my tonue landing lightly on my face gracefully covering the ground like a white blanket. Behold the stillness it brings as everyone gets ready for the event of the making of angels and snowmen the true coming of winter. Let’s get out our sleds and take a ride down the hill or build our snowforts and have a snowball fight. We have waited all year for this moment in time to enjoy this side of nature. When the newness wears of and we come in from the cold our feelings turn into dread when we relize we have to go shovel the stuff!!! |

This is wonderful, Kitkat! You have captured snow in all it's fun and beauty and also the 'pain in the butt' side of it too! Great ending! Denise |

Well, I've seen snow all of maybe ten times in my life. I surely love the stuff but then, I've never had to shovel it either... Love the poem still. Michael |
