It came to me last night in a dream. It was so simple, nothing to extreme. I see now that I had it all. As past burdens begin to fall. I viewed him as my very best friend. Holding my hand as my heart would mend. Then stand on the side while I searched once more. Only to return through that same broken door. And again, he was there to soothe the pain. To wipe my tears and keep me sane. Over the years our friendship grew. But just how he felt, I had no clue. As reality sinks in I now realize. The tenderness within his eyes. The gentleness of his warm embrace, Should have told me this was the right place. |

I like this, Eloise. Nothing like recognizing something that's been right before you for so long, huh? ~*Marge*~ |

Thanks SnglDad and Seymour. Absolutely Marge. Sometimes it just takes a bit for the cobwebs to clear. |

One of those 'moments of truth' moments! I think that's neat when that happens. As long as it's not too late... Great poem, Eloise! Denise |
