What do you recommend? I stare down at my shoes under the table And see how dirty it is under there Cigarette butts, gum, lint, wood chips All the leftovers That we didn’t need Its like a tiny universe with its own elements That bottle top could be a planet Obviously the ants are the inhabitants The empty bag of chips, a tanning studio No, that’s silly Ants don’t need to tan They’re already brown Let’s make that empty bag of chips A space station They could walk into there where… CAN I TAKE YOUR ORDER SIR? Oh, Yes, umm…. What do you recommend? |
