In memory’s lash I saw you flash
through yesterday’s deep musings.
The winds we changed have rearranged
our years; and youth’s enthusings.
~ ~ ~
A sorrow cast in the depths of the past,
in a canyon’s echoed hollow.
Our holy ground without a sound,
taught both of us to follow.
~ ~ ~
Though dear the fire of sweet desire,
and ne’er our love could sever;
yet a shadow lies beyond youth’s skies;
some weeping lasts forever.

 ...Living is ever like crossing rivers; finding a new life on each shore ... RJG

Rosemary and Keeper: Some people cannot understand the true depth of meaning of your poems unless they have been there or have compassion for their fellow man.  I like both of your poetry..it is full of tender sorrow from the experiences of life..again I say that I for one love your stuff. And I am sure that God will give you two grace to go through the pain so that you may share it with others and comfort them in their sorrows. I say some of our brightest revelations come from some of our darkest experiences..   james david  read my poem called the Agony of Death, probably on page 3

Now that I can make the connection with you and your husband, I'm able to appreciate the poetry more, as it is beautiful in heart and soul!!!

I liked the poem even though it was kind of sad.

Rosemary, the depth of emotion in your poetry always touches me. You write so very beautifully.
