You Ain't Woman Enough To Take My Man
~Marge Tindal~

You couldn't keep your man,
so you set your eyes on mine.
Well, honey, I'm here to tell you,
you got your hands full this time !

A little flirt.
A little hurt.
That's a little too much drama.
A man might look at a new little skirt,
but he don't take it home to Mama !

That would be one for the books.
You'd get one you wouldn't want to keep.
He'd soon grow tired of you,
because you came too cheap.

You gotta pay the price
if you want a love for all time.
Now skedaddle outta here, girlfriend !
This one is mine !

*Tee Hee ...
Goodness only knows where this
one came from.
Suthern ... are you still looking for laughter ?

Help! the helpless maiden cried
as the villian still persued her
A gallon of gin ran down her chin
cause the son-of-a-gun had stewed her!

Sorry

Rex-
What in the world was that?
If I inspired that little ditty ..
oh, Lord, please take pity. LOL !
*  Sorry *

Serenity-
I'm glad you got a laugh out of it.
Why, I can't imagine whatever came over me !

Corinne-
Now I'm laughing at you.
Ahem, L'Oreal Blonde here !

Devina-
I am glad it gave you a smile.

Hey, I think I remember that song.
Went to a wedding reception once where
a very gifted bride sang it to her new
hubby.

Now, being raised 'country'
is no laughing matter!

You think I can't take your man?
That's such a cool reaction
'cause you ain't seen nothin' yet
Til you seen me in action!
Watch out, girl!

Reminded me of the Loretta Lynn song~
Does anyone remember the movie Coal Miner's Daughter??~
In the movie, it was a bottled blonde that her husband was fooling around with... LOL!

Lizzie,
Slide on up here girl,
you brazen little flirt.
You'd get that man for sure
in a mini-skirt.

If you can get him
you can keep him,
it's all the same to me,
cause I wouldn't want him back,
even if he came for FREE !

Let's see your action girl.
You would have your hands full.
Bring it on Miss Lizzie,
I think you're full of bull !

Thanks, White Dove.
See .. it's working.
We're spreading smiles.

Hoot-
Cute !

Marie~
Didn't see the movie, but
redhead, blonde or brunette
they ain't made the woman
who can take my fellow, YET !

SUTHERN -
This was part of your laughter challenge,
and here you go getting all gushy on me.

If the woman was so brazen.
A little hell I'd be raising.
The man might be willing,
and then there might be a killing.
(well, that's a little permanent)

SEA-
I'm trying to portray the wench.
So tickled to see my
'sisters' jump on it !

Poet deVine-
You, me and Lorena Bobbitt !

*Absolutely WONDERFUL responses,
all of you !

With a little eagle cherokee
I take a little pause
I would not dare step up to any
Eagle beak or claws
OK, You can have him. He wouldn't want me in a miniskirt anyway
(I was just quippin' a little)
Love ya

I'm so glad you've found
your 'quipping whip'.
I love to quip with you.
You can't throw in the towel so quick ...
that would not be you.
Let's go a round or two
before we call it quits ...
neither of us would want to surrender
without a 'quasi-quip' !

Marge
Helmut suddenly appears you see
He wants to be the referee
He thinks I look good in a mini skirt
So honey, look out, I may want to flirt
(Nice to see you Helmut. How about a verse?)
So marge you may as well call it quits
And put away your quipping whips

You're working Helmut into a frenzy.
You're a brazen little hussy, Lizzie.
Let down those hems
stop flirting with him ...
or I'll just have to pitch a tizzy.

A referee, a referee ...
I'll show him what to call.
Come on Helmut
count to 10 ...
Miss Liz just took a fall !

She hit the mat
and went with a splat !
Her mini-skirt over her face.
It fit her well
as we could all tell,
she was a quipping disgrace.

I now wear the 'Quipping Ring'
and Lizzie's nowhere to be seen !
That'll teach that little flirt ...
Lizzie went out of style
with the mini-skirt !

Well, now it seems a wrestling match
And Marge's jealousy's unhatched
She should be jealous of one thing
I'm just too sexy for the ring
So wrestle on, sweet cherokee
You're there without a referee

Lizzie, you're so funny !
I love these little 'pun'nies.
It's a draw I can see
for the referee
forgot which quip to whip !

You are too sexy for the ring.
You sexy little thing !

Love you, sparring partner.
Back in a quip !
~*Marge*~

*Our little matches are
soooooo much fun.
Over before they've even begun.
I'll meet you at ten paces,
quipping on the draw of three.
You sexy little mini-skirted thing !
LOL !

Looks like the little cherokee
Is vying for the referee
What happened to the guy in the poem
I don't think we even know 'em
Poor Helmut must think we're nuts
So perhaps we better give this up
Good night!

Martie-
Thanks, gal.
That Lizzie can bring out the best in me.
She's quite quiply qualified.
Don't go away, Martie ...
next time you get to join our quipping !
Can you quip in free-verse?

Patrick-
Oh, the strong, silent type !
Hmmmmm ! Verrry interesting.
Thank you for liking.

Denise-
I think you'd be a great quipper too.
With a 'bee in your bonnet'
would you quip us a sonnet?

Lizzie-
You, my friend, are just the laughter
I needed tonight.  Thank you for the
quipping inspiration.
Almost since day one ... we've had
this wonderful friendship that has
come to mean so much to me.
Elizabeth ... I think you're wonderful.
We do share the title of
The Greatest Quipper Picker Uppers !

Just_Another_Fe-
So glad you enjoyed the fun.

I scratch my head and twitch my nose

Girls, settle down, I love you both

Now surley someone will say
Oh look at him he want's them both his way
With quipping wip and mini skirt
Well what can I say  I'm worth the flirt (lol)
So take my heart. I'll take that skirt
perhaps one day I do like to flirt (rofl)

Marge and Liz you are the greatest.
I needed the smiles tonight.
Thank you

Glad you liked the poem.

Helmut-

the slightest smile ... then it gives
us both double pleasure.

we'd both love to give a hug to.
