sitting in the darkness
watching silent echos flutter amongst the shadows
in this realm of silver whites and ebony blacks
sometimes more at home here in this soft colorlessness.
where light & dark collide and coalesce

sitting in the darkness
taking note of each highlighted shadow
how a beam of light is refracted

sitting in the darkness
a car goes by, it's headlights
sending bold shadow wraiths
reeling across the walls

sitting in the darkness
it is not cold and steile here
nor warm and slive
the silver whites and ebony black merge halfway
to become this cool, translucent colorless realm

Love those lines!

I love to sit in the dark, I always have.   There is something calm and peaceful to be found there.

Thanks you all for enjoying and sharing my gift.

Sharon-
This captured my awareness of the
images found in the dark.
Very descriptive.

I'd sit in the dark more often, but
that would mean I'd have to turn my
computer off !
