The rain is the tears of the angels. They weep over the miseries of mankind. They stare down from the heavens and sob bitterly. Vast rivers of tears soak their cheeks and flow downwards. Sniffling through the flowing waters of their tears, they point down at the earth in sympathy, and wail, "Look at the poor humans . . . they're DROWNING!" |

I know I've felt as if I were drowning, more than I care to admit. Thanks for explaining why. Seriously, I've always enjoyed your work. You make me ponder. |

Very aptly named poem! I lost my mother last year and she said she would become an angel and watch over me - this opened a vast river of my own tears, but I will always think about when it rains now! Thanks for sharing it. |
