You asked where your tastes buds came from When you were in mommy’s tummy Did I eat yucky stuff or Did I eat only what was yummy I’ll let you in on a secret, dear I craved horseradish and jam A glass of tea for breakfast And three pounds of Dakin ham! But there was a treat your daddy made Covered it with mushroom Prego A nicely toasted, warm and buttery Buttermilk Eggo! |

PDV: What on earth is mushroom Prego??..but I'm glad we're not what our mum's were eating at the time cause I'd be a pickled onion and that doesn't bear thinking about...oh my..*g* HUSG The grape passes through the press to yield wine. Prego is a brand name of spaghetti sauce. And to let you know a secret, I would never eat mushroom anything! I dislike mushrooms intensely!  |

What a darling poem!!! Hey Echo...you're sounding like my brother now....I happen to love mushrooms!! LOL!! I am not a mommy, but someday maybe!! This is got my curiosity going about what I might be craving!! Oh, I forgot....my dad said he and my mom were always eating ice cream while she was pregnant!! I said that explains why I feel like I NEED it in my diet!! LOL!! Anywayz, Cute poem!! Enjoyed it bunches!!
