I close my eyes, and think of you.
Pretend to hold, a touch that's new.
To part my lips, the feel so true.
The memory so near.

I fall asleep, with you in mind.
The dance is real, oh what a bind.
We melt as one, we slip and find.
The memory so near.

I cast away my fears unfound.
To sea, the tides come in with sounds.
You make me soar with leaps and bounds.
The memory so near.

I wish each day to kiss your lips.
To take of you in tiny sips.
To make you feel like doing flips.
The memory so near.

I hope one day to hold your hand.
To walk in strength, and help you stand.
To drink with you, who cares what brand.
The memory so near.

I see your face, do you see me?
I hear your voice, in memory.
I want to simply, set you free.
The memory so near.
