DelugeA fleeting flood of passion sounds from lovers' longing lips displayed against a tarnished moon a sonnet, soon eclipsed. A lasting, languid lullaby a mournful, solemn song a boundless buoyant joyful cry a weakened pulse, grown strong. The honest ache, the merging moan the tense taut fingertips We find each other, far from home as wind and water whips. Shared silence, it is finally ours a mirthfully magical hymn as words cascade from shadowed showers and bathe our hearts within. Claire |

'Cascading'indeed. What a buoyant ride your words take in this poem. Flowing so gently. Lovely, Claire ... simply lovely. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

This is very sweet in a longing sort of way. I liked it very much. Bravo! G Regret not that which you have done, Rather that which you haven't |

Claire, your words always seem to flow so beautifully. As I can see from my first glimps much like the poet herself... Hmmmmmm. Parker |

With voice of golden nightengale, She sings her words of love, Surely not a mortal be, But goddess from above. |

A stirring verse you've penned for me, symphonic satin sound. A thank you should I send to thee but words cannot be found. Thus I shall merely bow my head in quiet peaceful pleasure for poet's praises have I read and ever shall I treasure. Thank you, Mike. Claire |

Thanks, Walt. I'm not too hard to find. Just look for the woman with her heart on her sleeve. (I'll be the one right beside her rifling through the dog~eared "Emotion to English Translation Dictionary" and scribbling furiously on the inside cover of an ancient copy of "The Guide to Rational Living") |
