This was the first poem I posted in the new forums. His name came to me through a gentle summer breeze. A voice near a whisper. A hearts silent plea. A magical union powerless through vast space. Twilight questions of what brought us to this place. Overwhelming mystery makes it hard to stay away. A time, a place and where to meet...I would choose the day. Imprisoned by the longing, fate finally tips his hat. Four rings you see won't stop us..it's far too late for that. His eyes capture mine. First kiss ensued thereafter. I drown within his soul right then...amidst the nervous laughter. Abundant time was not ours. It ended all too soon. Brief meetings we shall only have each night amongst the moon. |
