Sleeping next to me so silent, you are a drowsing sentinel; a dreaming star watching over me even as the night dies I hunger to see the sun in your eyes To be without you late in the night is to be walking in great, dark halls finding no entrance, no exit and no candle to shed light; surreal dark shadows seem to jump off of the walls But to be with you late in the night is to open my eyes and clearly see the air embellished with clear blue light as I feel your warmth enfold ‘round me Listen, you can fairly hear it breathe listen to the softness of this night it sings with a sweetness barely believed it echoes and sighs with unwavering delight Precious one, slumbering at my side I’m longing for you, and for your sake I reach for your hand; I let you lie and I hunger to hold you when you awake. – |

This was so sweet! Now the question is...whom is it lying next to you? A child, a loved one? I guess it don't matter anyhow, this was really touching! <*\\\>< Where there is faith, there is love. Where there is love, there is peace. Where there is peace, there is GOD. Where there is GOD, there is no need. Hallmark |
