Angel The sight of Angel makes me sigh a breath of life I can’t say why So sweet and soft and lofty high is the sight of Angel in my eye Is it mere chance or destined fate my eyes to glimpse a damsel great not an evel witch, nor the devils bait but an Angel sent through heaven’s gate So let me sit and gaze at you the sweetest sweet I ever knew the one and only Angel who can touch my heart the way you do [This message has been edited by Safwan Arekat (edited 01-29-2000).] |

Wow, your words are so beautiful that they remind of another poet on this board. Can you guess who? Nathan |

Much thanks to all for this warm welcome. Let me share with you the poem in its original wording. It was only the thought of her that was angelic. Cacey The sight of Cacey makes me sigh a breath of life I can’t say why So sweet and soft and lofty high is the sight of Cacey in my eye Is it mere chance or destined fate my eyes to glimpse a damsel great not an evel witch, nor the devils bait but an angel sent through heaven’s gate So let me sit and gaze at you the sweetest sweet I ever knew the one and only Cacey who can touch my heart the way you do Safwan Arekat |
