Far from realities sleeve
Lost in fantasy's make believe
Caught within a web of greed
On The Trail of Utter Woe

As mystery binds its crusted branch
And Adapa clings to heavens glance
Forlorn live, with out a chance
On The Trail of Utter Woe

A Kingdom of poor deceit
Filled with starvation's grief
Where dead Mermaids lie on coral reef
On The Trail of Utter Woe

The search of Amrita, an endless path
Sanity sent by Sati's wrath
As feathers outweigh souls who pass
On The Trail of Utter Woe

Where Shu will cast the spirits high
As the sun is removed from the sky
No gold or mirth, in soil lie
On The Trail of Utter Woe

Hey Tori
A nice poem you have presented there
Just one thing, do such nice creatures have to die? I don't think that Walt Disney would agree.   "Where dead Mermaids lie on coral reef" Can I go and revieve them
Still I love the poem. And the picture

The ability to describe life with words is similar to painting a picture; both can be powerful tools.

Tori,
When it comes to writing you're no slouch
Your tale of woe just filled the pouch.
It took the feathers from my bed
And filled it full of thorns instead.
Wonderful poem.
