She reached into me, as I walked into her. A pulse unfelt, a touch as untouched Like a ribbon of light in a dark soul, An essence of beauty and passion, Like warm rain on lips of purity And I walked into her, through her, feeling her. She was a shield of strength, Yet torn from within by unmistakable passion. Eye's like globes of pure energy Lips so lush, so beautiful, They surpass flowers of spring, A touch that makes one feel alive, And skin like the softest silk on a warm breeze My heart expelled a fire, A burning unfelt before. But of her I could not see. Touch not the warm light of love, But mask with a cloud of confusion. Set aside by fear and time Living for now, I walk away… |
