Heart For Sale Look here at this bargain It’s sure a super buy! You won’t find a better deal No matter how you try! There have been few owners She kept it in a shell Well preserved and shielded Though not protected well Please ignore the footprints It’s been walked upon Don’t let that fact distract you It’s a steal, so please come on! Don’t mind the imperfections What’s a scar or two! Sure, it’s been used and abused But it could work for you! Hey, it still has life in it! Though it’s battered and it’s torn And if you wear it, oh, just right You won’t notice that it’s worn Come and see this heart for sale Be you rich or poor I’m sure to make a deal you’ll like She don’t need it any more I can live with the idea That we are merely actors Playing a part But I do wish Whoever is writing my script Would learn to use A few more Happy Endings ~Javan |

Sound like a poetic personal or a poetic informational to let anyone know what they are getting. That aside it is a really good(I lack better words right now after taking your challenge) peice. I love it. "Life's greatest mystery isn't the meaning of life. To love and be loved is the meaning of life. Now how to attain those is the greatest mystery of all." |

Hootessa and Belle - this is just a suggestion, but maybe you should try offering your heart for rent? Wait a minute, what have I said??? oops... *veg* a cute poem, nevertheless |

Very sad Take down that sale sign....hearts of gold shouldn't be sold! They should only be shared.....and you do that so well! Love ya, Denise |

Ruth, this is a masterpiece!! Didn't you post this in OP3 or 4??? I could have sworn I've read it before, regardless, it's worth reading again!!! Open arms can be the most fragile in the world... |

Ruth...Maybe our problem lies in letting anyone buy our hearts. The person worth sharing it with will never take it but will treasure the time allowed beside it. Please don't jump to conclusions my friend. We are not sure of the real circumstances here. ((hug)) |

This is so well written! tongue firmly planted in cheek and a bit poignant, too. Love the line: "Hey, it still has life in it!" But, you do still need it, my dear, you do! Corinne |

The words you cast out like a spell It does not sit with me so well Special is that's what you are You are a nice Lady by far Who ever treated you that way To "Hell" with him (Sorry for the hard word)I say I'm sure the "Undertaker" will be pleased to show him the way Dear Ruth your poem is nicely linked But you can do better with the ink Don't get me wrong you did just fine The poem, as poem is a divine The story sad beyond believe Don't let your heart be stolen by a thief To preciuos is the heart I pray Your always in my heart I say Hugs and Love The ability to describe life with words is similar to painting a picture; both can be powerful tools. |

Very well written and oh so beautiful! I loved this...it reminds me of times within myself! You have a beautiful heart and I doubt it could take very long for it to be snatched up! If you love something, set it free, if it comes back to you, its meant to be... |

devina...this poem was posted a while back, but is no longer in the Passion's archives because it was maliously deleted by a poet who is no longer on the site several days after it was posted. Danny...thank you, seems it's not a wanted commidity as of late suthern...well, maybe the person doing the bartering for me can sell it off quick, seems I don't need it Scorched...not a personal by any means...thanks LJA...rent? I'd rather give it away to someone who truly appreciates it's worth. Marilyn...thanks hun...it's hard not to jump to conclusions at this point though denise...thanks, love you too my friend Sea,Corinne, DA and Beri...thank you all Helmut...you're such a good friend, thank you |

Ruth, Don't be putting that heart on the market yet. There's a demon out there buying them up and reprograming them to see only bad and never seek love. Your heart is overflowing with tons love, and kindness don't sacrifice that for any amount. Keep it safe and sound inside your temple and know that God will heal it's scars. |

A heart is a terrible thing to waste -- and always grows bigger when given away... don't lose heart hoot!!! You have lots of love here it would seem!! |
