Coffee At My Place
~Marge Tindal~

                                      ~
                                           ~
                                             ~
                                                ~
In the early light of morning sun
gathered 'round the table of my heart,
friends who share not only a cup of coffee
but true friendship.  Some like it with sweet,
sweet thoughts, some with words so very strong
some mellow it with thoughts that are the cream
that always rises to the top.  No matter how it's
flavored, it is blended with the friendship that
makes it go down so easy.
Let's have another cup of
~Coffee At My Place~

I'm drinking my morning coffee at your place today, Marge.  Couldn't be in better company.  (By the way, are you sure we're not drinking from mushrooms?)

Marge,
I'll be right over, soon as I get out of these pajamas.
Would love to talk over a cup of coffee

Great poem, Marge, and clever presentation. For about the past month or so this has been my favorite early morning coffee spot (sometimes "too" early!) and the thought of us all sitting down "together" in our respective homes, watching the sun and sky  open up a brand new day for each of us, sipping rich, steaming hot coffee from our favorite mushrooms....ahhhh....
(so sorry, but Ted's mushroom comment nearly made me strangle in mid~sip!!)

Love and shared peace to all this morning...

Dear LadyClaire

I'll take the Irish Cream Flavoring in lieu of the "real stuff", please...and Marge, I can also bring the cinnamon rolls.  Hugs, KJ

Watch it, Toe... *G* I was all excited to have coffee ready so I wouldn't have to wait on this slow-brewing pot... but I might accidentally spill this whole mugful. LOL.

Enjoyed the gathering, Marge!! *S*

Hey, I don't drink coffee, but I'll come over just for the good company

Black for me, no foo foo, and I sure would enjoy a friendship cup.  I know you have room in your heart, but do you have room in your kitchen?

What a wonderful poem, we all need to take time out sometimes to have coffee with our friends.

Ahhh, good coffee, good friends what could be better?! Wonderful poem! The idea of coffe and conversation with adults instead of Oatmeal with the kids  sounds like a nice change. ( not that I don't enjoy my mornings with my kids .....but you can only do that for so long without missing adults!   )- SEA

Ted-
Thanks for dropping by.
Mushroom cups - a matching set.
On second look ... I think you're right.

Elizabeth, my friend-
It's a 'come as you are' gathering.
LEAVE YOUR 'JAMMIES' ON !!!

Rainbow Girl-
One coffe laced with cognac coming up !

Claire-
The coffee is incidental to the
gathering of friends, right?
Glad to have you at the table.

Toe-
Come on over and join the gals.
You'd be the sweetest addition.
What a guy !

Sunshine-
You would add a special touch
to our 'coffee klatch' ...
Yum .. Cinnamon rolls !

Suthern-
So very glad you could drop by
for coffee with friends.

Seymour-
A man after my own heart !
Half n' Half ... me too !

Denise-
Your friendship is
'good to the very last drop'.

Hoot-
For you ... hot chocolate or tea.
Your presence would sweeten the pot.

Martie-
There's room in the kitchen
for you all.

KitKat-
Florida sends you sunshine.
Thanks for dropping in.

Burke-
Thanks for having a cup with us.

Helmut-
You would certainly add much
sweetness to a circle of friends.

Elizabeth-
Thanks ... come on down !

Corrine-
Thanks.  (double mushrooms for Toe)

Marilyn-
Hooked on coffee?
Me too.
And friends on the side.

SEA-
You would be a delight to
sip a cup of coffee with.
Heck, bring the kids.
We'll send them out to play.

Beri-
Thank you for liking it.
Glad you came by.
