It’s way past my bedtime
I’m sitting here listening to a chime
I’m looking at Passions tonight
Eyes like a Hoot-owl…oh so wide (not related to Ruth)
The names along the list
The poem to read I have missed
My eyes so heavy aand squinted too
I’m without my glasses,..what am I gonna do?
I’m looking down the entire guide
Slowly my eye lids starting to slide
I see your names there tonight
as “Dancing Shadows in the Moonlight”

Wish you all a good night
Forgive me Ruth

Yea, many of us do dance in the moonlight, sometimes at 3:00 AM, still punching keys.
Gave me a smile.

Can anyone say ... ADDICTED??

As in, me, to Passions, most excellent repository of precious poetic prizes from pens far and wide ...

Sigh.  Yep, I spend too much time here too.  LOL

Not that I regret it, mind you ...

Of his bones are coral made,
Those are pearls that were his eyes;
Nothing of him that doth fade
But doth suffer a sea-change
Into something rich and strange...

This is great, no need to apologize! We all know what it is like to be up all night trying to keep our eyes open, reading poetry. Well done!
