My Youthful World
-----------------------
When I was one and ten,
young like you were way back then.
a circle had begun,
that binds two futures into one.
Time has come, the years have gone
eight and twenty, since
we lost that bond.
you were just my poor town girl
Dolores of my youthful world
But circles weave, and fate it seems
may tie the ends, for such as me
and maybe bonds, lost so long
return to me, a future girl
Dolores from My Youthful World.

OH, yeah, I am a strong believer in this kind of fate!

Lovely!

Thanks, Danny, Denise, Corinne, Seymour, devina.... I'm not really a big believer in fate, but its a sweet thought.

Parker, yes fate is a sweetened thought, especially for us soft cynics, but what one must do to turn the "fates" around!

Love this poem you've shared!

Meadowmuse, thank you, I would like to hope that we are somewhat in control of our own fates.
