The symbol of words Words are symbols like flying crane, Ever circling, clever, inane. Some dear and some insincere and Some whisper foolishness, your ear. They air more then define you know. And they say more than, such is so. Some lovely as the daffodil, Some sugar coat a bitter pill. And I have joined their revelry, In books, letters and fantasy. They have opened many a door, Their like chameleons, of allure. But it's up to you to keep them sane, They can misinterpret, the plain. Subject to your final virtue, It is your view, selects the true. So love them like the stars that dwell, for They've traveled heaven, as well as hell. |

Sy, Your words so caste a magic spell Of lyric rhyme we love so well And seem to dance 'cross space and age And never touch the printed page Just as the young Trakehners bound And never seem to touch the ground So supple is the gait they prance Just as your poetry seems to dance Love ya Liz |

Keeps you warm throughout the night?? It's 85 degrees, Sy! We have the A/C on!! hehe. Good poem, Sy. Words are, indeed, whatever we wish for them to be...a gentle touch or a weapon of disaster...their intent is in the mind of the speaker. |

Words chase each other in my head They can't be said Never, never. Saying them would show a me No one should see Ever, ever. On the other hand, you use words so well and paint a portrait of a man beloved by all. *S* Well done, Seymour! |
