Upon my mouth Plant your breath Lips of life Forestalling death And in time With lips as one In sight of none There is nothing left Upon my mouth In darkness sent Wreathed in love A voice to vent And in time What words will come Whispers soft one by one Until fallen spent Upon my mouth Etched there a smile Granted by lips Made ever worthwhile And in time When all is done Look for the one Whose mouth is reconciled Upon my mouth Your heart will be Named a name unspoken As it silences me And in time When love has won Far from the sun Your lips, my mouth, prophecy |
