O.k. Here's the story..

He came into my life,
the day he left her side.
they had been together
for years, it just had died.

I too, was hanging on to my
life full of fear.
I told myself I'd leave as soon
as Mr. Right appeared.

We talked that day for hours,
"the force" between us grew.
I knew right then, I was very wrong,
to wait, not simply do.

I ran from you, but you returned,
each week, each day, each hour.
I realized that I must release
the one who held my power.

We waited till I finished up
the things that I must do.
I kissed you on the day that I
ended all my dues.

For this I want to thank you now
you helped me through my pain.
You held me close, our passion grew,
we waited and restrained.

You never lied, you always said
don't fall in love with me.
I've sheltered my emotions from
the words that tumbled free.

You tell me that you care for me
the timings simply wrong.
That if we're really meant to be
we'll one day end up strong.

You look within my eyes of trust
and gently start to cry.
You say you want to be with me
you simply need some time.

And yet, there are some other things,
the women that you see.
You tell me all, I don't believe,
you've told them about me!

I almost gave myself to you
but didn't in the end.
I knew I'd loose the thing that made
me different from your "friends".

I hope right now, I mean to you,
what you have meant to me.
I will not wait for you to come,
but wish you'll some day see!

Holding out is definantly the way to find out if he's worth your love...maybe he's right in needing time so soon after the breakup...if things are meant to be it will all work out for the best...good luck!!

I know we both need the time to re-situate our lives. I don't expect anything, but I am hoping for the future!!!
