I Feel A Poem Coming On If your wondering why I have this pensive look And a far away stare Don't think, twice Just surmise That it's just that I feel a poem coming on. I felt it coming on When I got out of bed There were strings of words Running around in my head And it just seemed if I didn't write them down They would cause me great distress Until I could put them to rest. So here on this paper they lay Now it's all up to you To decide if they All got arranged in a Delectable, readable, write way! |

SeptSong- I'd say that I, for one, am glad you got out of bed today. LOL ! I know that feeling oh-so-well ! Mine come so quickly that I have to make songs out of them before I forget them. And then another and another and another ... people around me are always asking others, 'What's Marge so happy about ... she's singing again.' Great poetry from you.
