June Cleaver, with all of her virtues so pure, was a character much like me. But do you ever wonder what she would've chosen, could she have had a secret identity? *~* Perhaps "bad girl" June would much rather take an oppresive style of living. She would thrive upon dishonest feats and to accidental wrongs be unforgiving. Perhaps "bold" June would feverishly rebel against stereotypical saints with protests and actions uncivilly due, promoting a new wave of political complaints. Perhaps "new" June would dress scantly clad and dye her hair purple or pink. Maybe she'd learn how to smoke a cigar or would habitually/excessively drink. Perhaps "naughty" June would wreak havoc in town by developing a corruptive plan to break up a household of faith by persuing another wife's man. Perhaps "faithless" June would lose touch with her soul and would Sundays remain in the bed, comforting herself with exccuses for sleeping, not going to church, instead. *~* It seems to be that society has changed and is lacking the "Junes" of the past. With all that is threatening our world today, an encompassing spell has been cast. There is absence of love and of kindness today, replaced by dishonesty and despair. The "good vs. evil" is more present than ever in a world where we've forgotten to care. No doubt, June Cleaver would more so today stick by her virtues so pure. She'd represent wholeness and good, continuing her march, so demure. So the question becomes just this, asked with certain brevity, "If you had to choose, what would be YOUR secret identity?".
