easy and free
until one day
you took yours from me

came apart
that was when
you broke my heart

One hand ripped from the grasp of another--what a fitting and poignant depiction of loss! The simplicity and brevity of your lines work very well for this poem, implying more than they could ever say on the surface. Very moving!
