It`s late at night
And Im all alone,
Who`s outside my window?
Dog`s are barking
And kid`s aren`t home,
Who`s outside my window?
Roof top rumble`s
The back door shake`s,
Who`s outside my window?
Wind`s are howling
A tree limb break`s,
Who`s outside my window?
I look to see
And there he is,
A stranger outside my window,
I try to scream
But there`s no sound,
He`s coming thru my window,
I reach for something
There`s nothing around,
He`s entered thru my window,
With his hand
He take`s my air,
I can no longer see the window.
Mommy,Mommy
A child cries,
I wake and close my window.
Just a dream
No one dies.
WHO`S OUTSIDE YOUR WINDOW??

I am thankful I am not easily frightened. This could make most fearful people's skin crawl. This is all to real a threat in our society. Very cute to add the sweet dreams.

Joel...

(I am the easily frightened)...but with that aside, I think this is a great poem.  I love the style.  The repetition tends to build the tension with every new thought.  VERY VERY thought provoking...and in today's society, a very serious thing...I will double check the locks tonite!

Great writing!

It wasn`t me outside her window.
I was peeping in a different neighborhood.
Good job.
