Through the clear skies
I gazed in wonder at
the eclipsing of
the orb of the
moon in it's
fading red
glory of
light
your
awe
and
mine
beams
in unison
with light
being swept
away for just
one moment in time
and in infinity peeks
filling us with delight

I posted this
as a reply to Martie's
lovely  rendition  of  her
'La Luna Dream In Firmament'
and thought it looked so pretty
that I just had to share it
with my wonderful friends,
at Passion's In Poetry.
Hope you enjoy !

  Enjoyed very much!

May I never be too busy to help another's load,
Then I'll be drinking from the saucer 'cause my cup has overflowed.

hehe. I went outside to look at the eclipse a short time ago and the first thought in my mind was "How long will it take Marge to write a poem about this?" You didn't disappoint me, dear Marge

Satiate-
Thank you sooooo much.

Balladeer-

Just the thought of us looking
at the same moon, at the same time,
and you knowing me well enough to
know I'd just have to write about it ...
fills me with awe !
I hope I never disappoint you.
What a guy !

Does that make me a 'Luna'tic?

See, we're even beginning to think alike !
LOL !
Love ya' ~Marge~

How creative

But what else should I expect from such a creative mind

Denise-
Thank you.  Nature gave us the beauty ...
I just tried to capture the view to share with others.

One Who Understands-
Thank you so very much for finding
it creative. I'm not so sure about
the mind ... but if you want to think
so ... it's A-Okay with me.
Welcome to Passions.

Beautiful shape, exquisite form; your poetry stands alone, and this time, in visual as well as poetic loveliness.

Marge, you are one magnificently gifted poet!

This captured it well.  Thank you for the words to that song, Marge.

Of his bones are coral made,
Those are pearls that were his eyes;
Nothing of him that doth fade
But doth suffer a sea-change
Into something rich and strange...

I certainly did no question here
You did fine again my dear
And the graphical effect
A drop of rain, a tear perhaps I did inspect
Lines can say so much
and added here a certain touch

The ability to describe life with words is similar to painting a picture; both can be powerful tools.

My loving friend
your praise thrills me
again and again.
With a friend like you
t'would be sheer delight
to share the moon
some eclipsing night.

Marge, what you created with this poem was a perfect blend of the virtual, visual, tonal,
and emotional values, and in such a simple, unassuming way... Beautiful!
Congratulations,

Willem

Willem-

Not to pop this one back to the top-
but I couldn't let such a wonderful
reply go without acknowledgement.
Thank you for the accolades.
Unassuming as I am ... I believe the
moon, in all her glory, has shared
the most illuminating glow to cover
us all in wonder.
Thank you so very much.
