Winter Storms

White blankets of snow cover the ground.
Icicles hang, daintily, in rows, from rooftops.
Nestled under a comforter of down,
Together, we lay, cradled in warmth;
Enjoying the winter storm;
Ravished by our love.

In the middle of a cold storm you find warmth and happiness. I love the feelings this stirs up. Love certainly becomes you Ruth. Well done

Winter spelled in a vertical way, give rise to creative words at play.

Love in your arms
On winters chilly day
Vision of mistic charms
Ever in memory to stay

In admiration of your work.

Shower down
Hover, hover
Oh snow ye bain
Voluminous thou art
Engulf my driveway yet again
Leave me tho a way out?

Short and wonderfully sweet, just like our snow storms up here.     I would love to be able to wrap up in warmth, such as you've displayed, during this time of winter.

Well, this is nicely done
I can see you are the one
Not just to say...how nice
Thought I add a nice surprise
Eventually you will see
Ruth and her poem…how inspiring she can be

Friend of mine
Ruth you are a divine
In all the time I've know you, I have to say
Eagerly I read your poetic display
Nothing ever will stop me
Deeply to adore thee

A nice poem that you wrote. I hope you can see what I tried to do here, especially for you. Just the first letters did'nt came out
bold. I guess you still ahead of me. And why shouldn't you be
Hugs and Love
Helmut

In time you'll see the Spring break free,
Heralding new growths of green.
Again the winter will give way,
To the time when lovers sway
Ever in grasps of desire
To love anew as days transpire.
Hear the birds sing forth the days,
In trilling songs as breezes sway
Supple tree and flowering bloom,
Decrying Winter's now gone gloom.
Arise and sing for life anew,
Revel! These days are made for you.
No more the Winter will send its blast,
Withering your soul unto its last.
Irreverent winds will be dispursed,
No more will you feel their curse.
Tomorrow brings warmth and light,
Entreating us with warm delight.
Resolve to live fully your life!
!

Ruth, I'm sure glad to see you're cozy, calm, and collected in this wonderful winter ditty, but if you could spare a few minutes of your time, I need some serious reassuring on this "meeting" thing!  Have you and your man actually met, and if yes, please tell me how it went, cause we have one week left, and all I can do is think "jitters".....you know, the bad stuff....HELP!  Reassure me please!
