The day is gone the ache in my heart, Is still real strong. All through the night, I dream of you, I only hope that you dream too. I long for the one with the gentle touch. The way he holds me, Oh I love so much. His strong body and warm breath on my skin, I wait on the day he will hold me again. His loving smile and soft, soft kiss, are just few of the things I do miss. The beautiful words that came from his heart, Are words that I will never depart. As I close my eyes, I smell the scent of his skin. The aroma, that makes my heart beat faster within. You see he is part of my soul and someday I will be, There with that part finally free. If you pass him, give him a smile. Tell him that I love him, And our heartache, is only for a while. Lynn Burdette |
