                   Friendship

      Despirited?     Let me uplift you.
      Alone?          Let me befriend you.
      In turulence?   Let me be your calm.
      In shouts?      Let me be the whispers.
      In sadness?     Let me comfort you.
      In sickness?    Let me bring you to health.
       YOU ARE MY FRIEND , LET ME LOVE YOU

This sure describes what a true friendship should be! Great sentiments, Terri!

And slight is the sting of his trouble
Whose winnings are less than his worth;
For he who is honest is noble,
Whatever his fortunes or birth.~~~Alice Cary, ~Nobility~

Those are the type of qualities I would want in a friend. Thanks for sharing your poem.
