She looks at me with discust in her eyes, After hearing the truth, after all my lies. The pain shows through her dissapointed face, I know the diception should have never took place. The damage is done as i look to my feet, I wish that i had been a little more discreat. She is my wife and i've cheated, her trust is no more, I don't understand why she has not shown me the door? I am stupid and sorry that is all i can say, I wish this reality would move quickley away. They say you don't know what you have lost till it has gone, They are right.. I lost perfection, because i was wrong!! |

Gary, welcome to Passions... This is a pretty terrific place to hang out... In response to this poem, I'd like to suggest that you read Balladeer's "In Memory of Marie".... You should really enjoy it... Check your email... |

Gary Its not too late, but it sure makes the road a lot rougher. In addition to learning to forgive others, probably the hardest thing to do is to learn to forgive yourself, and then to make sure you don't have to forgive yourself for making the same type of mistake again. |

Welcome to Passions, Gary! Great poem. Some lessons in life come the hard way. That's okay, as long as we learn from them! Denise And slight is the sting of his trouble Whose winnings are less than his worth; For he who is honest is noble, Whatever his fortunes or birth.~~~Alice Cary, ~Nobility~ |

Gary I enjoyed the honesty in your poem and I admire you for facing up to the truth. It looks like you have placed yourself in a hard place. I hope everything works out for you according to your desires. There is always hope. James |

hi gary, you have quite a tension in this poetry picture, your question mark, "I don't understand why she has not shown me the door? " and that she looks with disgust. my mind goes back and forth between. rus |
