So many faithful here, and the weekend upon us, figured I'd post this limerick fun from late summer at the evolutionists expense. Adam and Kermit A cave ape called Link once said, "Madam, if you'll be the mom then I'll dad'em." They had an affair a chromosome spare - The boy that she bore they named Adam. Now Link gave to Adam a pet, a pre-frog who always stayed wet, who mated this fish, a caviar dish, and thus he and Kermit so met. The ape girls all thought him a ringer for Elvis the chimpanzee singer - with each coy ape look those pelvises shook, so Adam became quite the swinger. But Adam, he thought it quite cruel that each ape he had birthed a mule - He went to his dad who seemed more than glad to father an Eve for his fool. For Adam and Eve tweren't no biggie to nudie it under the figgie - They had Cain and Abel and Betty and Mabel and Kermit the Frog had Miss Piggy. |

Here's Elvis the chimpanzee singer He strums the guitar with his finger He plays "rock 'n' roll" And is really quite droll - He's full of poetic zingers.... ![]() ![]() [This message has been edited by Nan (edited 01-14-2000).] |

A dead-ringer this zinger ... points a poetic finger ... at Elvis the chimpanzee, turned singer ! Such convolution this evolution. Shall we start a revolution? Elvis is dead ..... and I don't feel so good myself ! I needed a laugh ..... and I got it ! Thanks, Rus. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

Hi Echo, Glad you laughed. Thanks for looking at this one. Appreciated. ![]() Rus --------------------------------------- Hi Denise, Thanks for pointing to the point. Seems there is enough creation bashing going on. I tried a different form that flopped, then I had fun writing this. Rus -------------------------------------- Hi Nate, Tried to figure how an ape would be attracted to a human. Had to be Elvis for me. ![]() Rus |
